OUR STORY
Calvin Lee, founder of EΛOL, began his journey in financial services in 2008 after a successful career in engineering and regional leadership roles. His belief in insurance was shaped by a personal life event — when his father passed away in a car accident. It was through his father’s foresight in purchasing insurance that his family received the financial support needed to continue their education and rebuild their lives. This pivotal experience left an indelible mark on Calvin, instilling a conviction that financial planning is not merely about policies or products, but about providing security, choices, and legacies for loved ones.
From that conviction, EΛOL was created. Pronounced “e-vol,” the name comes from the word “evolve,” reflecting our drive for continuous growth in a fast-changing digital and entrepreneurial world. The inverted “Λ” symbolises exponentiation — our role as the exponent of our people, helping them reach their full potential. Spelt backwards, EΛOL reads “LOVE,” a reminder that the well-being of our clients and planners always comes first.
